An evening designed as a journey. An exclusive gathering centred on art, curiosity and the spirit of travel, in one of Portugal’s most iconic settings.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception in the palace gardens from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in a relaxed late-afternoon setting.

This will be followed by a conversation:

“The Grand Tour Revisited: Travel, Art & Curiosity”

An intimate exchange between distinguished figures from the worlds of travel and art.

At 9:00 pm, dinner will be served beneath the arcades of the cloister, a unique setting where architecture and lighting combine to create an enchanting atmosphere for a refined gastronomic experience.

Throughout the evening, live performances by internationally acclaimed classical musicians will accompany the experience.

10% of the proceeds will be donated to Horizonte Musical do Tejo, a Lisbon-based charity that promotes artistic excellence and social inclusion through music.

During the evening, a courtesy draw will be held for a 4-night Sanctuary Nile cruise for two, offered by Abercrombie & Kent. A timeless journey to the heart of Egypt, sailing down the Nile, where ancient temples and serene landscapes evoke the spirit of the Grand Tour.

The Venue

The dinner will take place in the cloister of the Mafra National Palace, a semi-open space (we recommend bringing a warm layer), with assigned seating, located approximately 30 minutes from Lisbon.
